Running for a position on the NCSS Board of Directors is such a personal thing. Although each elected individual will serve as a representative for the organization, their reasons for running vary widely. The Council on Foreign Relations is in the process of developing several new education initiatives on international relations and U.S. foreign policy and a Model National Security Council program, both of which will be targeted to students in the 16-22 year old range, and their teachers. --> read more »

This summer GEEO and NCSS are collaborating on a program that will organize two trips (Turkey and Peru) exclusively for NCSS members. The NCSS wanted to offer a program where their members could travel together at discounted prices.
